Q: How long have you been in business?

Prestige Mustang was established in 1983 and has been in business for over 30 years. We are excited to add many more years to the portfolio.

Q: Which side do you mean when you say RH and LH?

The easiest way is to imagine that you are sitting in the driver’s seat. LH items would be at the left hand or driver’s side. RH items would be at the right hand or the passenger's side.

Q: Where do you get your cars for dismantling?

We purchase from Insurance Auto Auctions and individuals; on average spending about 35-40% of our day searching for the right cars with hard to find and rare parts for your needs. We are also able to source out parts and cars for customers as well.

Q: How many cars do you purchase on average?

We purchase anywhere between 2-8 cars a week currently; getting them from across the country or even in our own backyard of Walton County, Georgia.

Q: Do you do local sales and/or pickup?

Yes. Actually, we encourage our customers to stop by and visit! We have customers come from the North to purchase rust-free southern parts and we love entertaining guests! Primarily we have phone and internet sales, but we work towards getting the local crowd to come through as well.

Q: What makes you so different from everyone else?

We pride ourselves on being unique through several different factors. For starters,we have a one of a kind virtual salvage yard; Customers are able to view the cars that they wish to purchase parts from. We also have the ability to send customers videos of cars running and driving, so that in real time, a buyer can see a motor running or a transmission shifting. Our company prides itself on quick time response to inquiries about parts from a real live person. You will not call our office and speak to a recording, or have a robot respond to any questions. It will always be a friendly and courteous Mustang Expert that will assist you.

Q: What kind of discounts do you offer?

We run specials and have daily, weekly & monthly specials! Always check with our social media pages, we constantly run contests so that customers can compete for a chance to win a gift card, t-shirt, or a percentage off their next order! It never hurts to ask as well! :)

Q: Do you sell new parts too?

Yes there are some things that we offer new reproductions of. Otherwise, we are able to send you in the direction of a company that does mass productions of new Ford-style parts. We are famous for housings OEM rare and hard to find parts. Reproductions may not always be the best route and some don’t bolt on correctly to your car. We are always looking for ways to better ourselves so make sure to always check back with us, you never know what we may be offering.

Q: Do you have anything for mustangs between 1974-1978?

No we do not. Parts for these cars are very rare and hard to come by. We do not offer parts or service for these cars. We also have no knowledge of anyone who sells or sources parts for these particular year models.

Our site, to include all contents, serves as products sold with an, “as is” basis to include no warranties or liabilities. By the use of this site you have acknowledged that you make purchases at your own risk and you have assumption for all costs associated in connection and that prestige mustang is not liable or under fault for any damages related to your use.

Prestige mustang offers primarily used automotive parts. All manufacturers names, symbols, logos, and descriptions are used for the purpose of general identification only. Q: Ordering Information

Orders may be placed online or by calling us directly. 770-207-PONY(7669) or Toll Free 1-866-45-STANG(78264). Regular operating hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am- 6 pm, and Saturday from 9 am- 2 pm (EST.) We are closed on Sundays.

Q: Payment Information

We offer prepay and deposits, credit card, debit card, wire transfer and cash payments. We do not accept COD. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit cards only.

Q: Shipping Information

We offer UPS , US Mail and motor freight (truck) only. We take great care in packaging all of our orders to our customers, so a small handling fee is included in the cost of shipping. We offer drop shipments, and can send your package to whatever destination you choose and send the invoice to you.

Please inspect the contents of the container upon arrival and verify the information included on the invoice. Please be sure to check the packaging material for items as well. Many times we pack smaller items inside of larger items for protection. If you discover your order is incomplete, please contact us immediately.

Q: Damaged Merchandise

In the event of a container is open, crushed, bent or torn upon arrival if you have access to a digital camera, please take a picture of the box unopened and then immediately check for the missing or damaged items and contact us. Due to the nature of the parts we ship, please inspect the part for damage that coincides with the damage to the container.

Q: Returns

There are no refunds on used parts, special order parts, or electrical parts. New parts must be returned within thirty (30) days and will be assessed a 25% restocking fee.

You must also obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by contacting us or submitting an RMA request.

Q: Warranty Information

All engines carry a 90-day, unlimited mileage warranty. All engines are warranted against excessive oil use, excessive smoking, rod knock, cracked block, cracked heads, and bad crankshafts, unless otherwise noted at the time of sale. Warranty will be voided without proof of oil changes at 3000 mile intervals. Engine assemblies are limited to block and cylinder heads as a unit with valve covers and oil pan. All engine accessories, fuel systems, distributors, carburetors, idle valves, throttle bodies wiring, exhaust manifolds, alternators, smog pumps, power steering pumps, and air conditioning compressors are not covered under this warranty but may be included on some engine assemblies to make installation easier.

All transmissions (automatic or manual) carry a 30-day, unlimited mileage warranty. Automatic transmissions are sold as an assembly including torque converter. All shift cables, modulator valves, electrical switches and shift levers are not included in sale of automatic transmissions. Manual transmissions are also sold as an assembly. All bellhousings, shifters and shifter linkages are not included in the sale of manual transmission. All overdrive transmissions must have all adjustments set by a certified transmission shop immediately upon installation or warranty will be voided. Automatic transmissions must have the converter installed all the way into front pump before installation. Improper installation will void warranty. Warranty does not include abusive treatment, such as improper shifting or racing of any kind. All returns may be disassembled for inspection before replacements are made. Transmissions with broken gears will not be warranted. Warranty does not include leaks.

All rear axle assemblies carry a 90-day, unlimited mile warranty. All rear axle assemblies are warranted against bent housings, bent axle shafts or noisy bearings.

Any engine, transmission or rearend assembly that is taken apart, modified or abused by customer will have no warranty, return, credit or exchange. All electrical parts carry no warranty or guarantee and therefore cannot be returned, exchanged or credited. No exceptions.
